Since April this year, North Worcestershire businesses have received more than £600,000 of support from the Business Growth programme.

In North Worcestershire, The Business Growth Programme, part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and managed by Birmingham City Council provides grants of between £10,000 and £1million to businesses to help them grow and flourish.

One local business benefiting from this programme is D-Zine Furnishing Solutions Ltd in Stourport-on-Severn.

D-Zine Managing Director Betsy Vickery said,
“As a company, we are ambitious to grow and the Business Growth Programme has created a wonderful opportunity for us.  Support from the grant programme has taken two years off our three year business plan and has helped us to create job opportunities for the local community”.

Georgina Harris, Business Growth Manager at NWedR (North Worcestershire Economic Development and Regeneration) said,

“We are delighted to see so many of our local businesses benefiting from this significant programme of support. We would like to highlight to businesses across North Worcestershire that even in these challenging times for business, there is substantial support out there for them to help realise their goals.

We urge business leaders to contact us to discuss their business plans and we can help direct them to the most appropriate programme.  For the Business Growth Programme, demand is high and funds are limited, so don’t delay in contacting us or go to the programme’s website Business Growth Programme for more information.”
