National Restrictions were announced from 5th January 2021. Whilst the national restrictions remain in place businesses that are required to close by law will be eligible for Local Restriction Support Grant (Closed) – If your business has had to close because of lockdown. Businesses that were required to close during this period will also be eligible for the Closed Business Lockdown Payment (CBLP); which is a payment which will be made in addition to the LRSG (Closed). The two grants will be paid separately, and local councils are working on a process to ensure that you do not have to apply for CBLP.
