Matchborough and Winyates District Centre Redevelopment 

In January 2019, Redditch Borough Council investigated the potential for the regeneration of both Matchborough and Winyates District Centres, with plans to work with Worcestershire County Council, Homes England and NWEDR to bring the concepts to life.

Development options are now being considered, inviting experienced developers to come forward to work with the council and Homes England on the scheme.

Options for the areas may include a mix of new housing development, the regeneration of the local shopping centres and improvements to landscaping and the local environment to create a high quality new development bringing lasting benefits to local residents.
